If you need to take a flight soon, you should be aware that the TSA recently banned loose lithium batteries in checked baggage (you can still, subject to a few restrictions, bring a spare lithium battery in your carry-on luggage however.)

The Race Gap in the I.T. Workforce

Everyone knows that African-Americans have less access to technology. It’s called the Digital Divide. The problem is so well documented that it’s become its own field of research. Given this situation, it would be logical to assume that African-Americans are likewise underrepresented in the I.T. workforce.

Being an African-American in the Information Technology industry is a unique experience and I thought it would be interesting to write about it. I can’t say if this site will evolve into something broader, but that was my original motivation.
